On the afternoon of October 16th, we co-hosted the 'Building Dreams in Luohu·Initiating the Future – WorkBuddy AI Workplace Efficiency Event' with the Luohu District Public Employment Promotion Center in Shenzhen.
This event didn't just stop at introducing 'what AI can do.' Instead, it started with a more specific question: If you could hand over one task to AI today, what would you want it to do for you?
From interpreting entrepreneurship support policies to introducing WorkBuddy and conducting on-site workflow practice, we aimed to bring AI from a seemingly grand concept back to the tasks at hand for everyone.
01｜Integrating AI into Work Scenarios
The event began with a special interpretation of Luohu's entrepreneurship support policies, followed by an introduction to AI concepts and WorkBuddy. For many, the challenge wasn't being unfamiliar with AI, but rather uncertainty about whether it could handle their work and where to start.
Therefore, we didn't just talk about tool functions. Instead, we focused the discussion on specific tasks: How to organize information, how to generate content, which steps in the process AI could participate in, and where human judgment was still needed.
02｜From a Workflow to a Real Business Page
To enable participants to learn how to complete a workflow on-site, we set up a Xiaohongshu content creation case process. This was the content creation workflow demonstrated and practiced on-site, including information collection, script design, graphic generation, review, and publication. It wasn't about 'doing it for me,' but rather breaking down the goals, materials, and output requirements, and then having WorkBuddy participate step by step.
One of the most tangible practical results from this event was a front-end promotional page created by a business owner specializing in custom suits using WorkBuddy. The page combined information about custom services, appointment scheduling, and real case studies, providing their business with an online showcase that is visible and can be further modified.
Many participants at the event created the tools and pages they needed for their own businesses. Everyone had different problems to solve and the resulting products varied, but they all started with a specific task: first clarifying what needed to be accomplished, and then letting WorkBuddy help turn their ideas into usable results.
During the practical session, mentors and assistants provided on-site explanations and assistance. Participants could start with templates, supplement their goals and output requirements, test and check results, and record useful commands and outcomes.
03｜Learning to Improve Efficiency with AI First
I really like this approach of starting with specific work. You don't have to learn a bunch of terminology first. By clarifying a task at hand, you can begin to judge where AI can be helpful and where you need to keep an eye on it.
AI workplace efficiency is not just about adding another chat window, but about integrating tools into real processes: clarifying what needs to be accomplished, providing sufficient context and standards, letting AI participate in processing, and finally having humans review and adjust.
Thanks to the Luohu District Public Employment Promotion Center and all the friends who came to the event to learn and try together. We hope this practical session is just the beginning. In the future, we will continue to integrate AI into real scenarios and work with more people who are making products, applications, and practices to try out more specific applications.
